Ventilation grille for wall installation
Type W480 is a ventilation grille for wall installation with a physical free cross-section of 76%.
Materials and surface treatment:
Aluminum profiles AlMgSi 0.5 (according to EN 12020-2 and EN AW-6063 T66). Surface silver (E6/EV1) anodized (+/- 20 microns) or powder coated according to RAL color shades (+/- 60-70 microns).
316 stainless steel insect screens - 6 x 6 mm mesh spacing - 2.3 x 2.3 mm or 10 x 10 mm mesh spacing on request.
Wall anchors No. 429 are supplied for fastening.
Execution details:
The L-shaped frame profiles (total height 64 mm) are mitered at 45° and connected by inserted corner brackets. The aluminum slat holders are riveted to the perforated vertical frame profiles. If the total width of the grille exceeds 700 mm, a perforated U-profile with additional slat holders is mounted for reinforcement. The slats are clipped into the slat holders with a spacing of 54 mm. With a PVC clamping cord the insect screen is fixed on the back side in the insertion channel.
Optional:
A water drainage channel made of aluminum AlMgSi 0.5 is mounted under the lowest slat and ensures better water drainage. Surface silver (E6/EV1) anodized or powder coated in the RAL color of the grille.
